First Day at Work. :)

My first day at office and my very first thought: God! U must be kidding me! Its far far better than what I had thought! l'll start with the details right away..I have so much to write...my heart and my mind can't come on a consensus what to write first! So, I'll just start from the beginning.

We reached office in the morning and we met our buddies. We all were assigned buddies who were supposed to make us feel at home. We were welcomed by their smiling faces. Talking to them, introducing ourselves to them and being guided by them reminded me of Art of Living! I felt like they all were the volunteers and I was in one of those Art of Living sessions. :) Seriously..they all lived up to the tag given to them..buddies! :)

Then they took us to the cafeteria for breakfast. But none of us was hungry as we had already had our breakfast in the guest house. We had lunch,though, later during the day. What I had heard was true..Google is really generous with food nd stuff. :D Its a perfect place for a foodie like me! But I wasn't feeling hungry today..dunno y! :-/

Today was the orientation day...so we had different people coming up one by one and telling us about Google, its policies nd stuff nd yaa making us feel special. :) :D

We also had a small activity which our buddies arranged for us. It was a treasure hunt. We had a good time roaming all around in the office with our Google caps on! :D

Since, It's been only one day here with people...m not talking much. :-o Dunno how long m gonna take to get comfortable. Its this breaking-the-ice part that I find really difficult..I tell you! Nd once its done...life becomes all roses for me nd difficult for the people around me! :D lolz!

Ohhh..nd I forgot to mention...we all got Google bags, T-shirts, diaries, pen and the cutest thing of all..a google keyring! :) I love to keep a collection of key rings nd now I have the coolest key ring in my collection! I saw it after coming back from the office, gave it a gentle peck nd kept it safely in my cupboard. :)

One more thing I noticed...people out here are really smart! I was observing them nd I was telling myself...long way to go girl! I'm gonna get so much to learn here from everybody around me. It's a totally different world! This place..looks like a dream within a dream!

That was my first day at Google in short. I'll keep coming back with more updates. Right now just want to sign off saying..I'm feeling lucky...indeed! :)
